Independence Day - Freedom from the Rat Race
If you have never played "Cashflow Quadrant" and you are serious about achieving financial freedom and wealth, I strongly suggest that you play. This is a game that tests your financial IQ in ways that no other games have (Robert Kiyosaki also has a more advanced game called "Cashflow 202".)
In the game, ever player gets to pick a rat and a piece of cheese. The rat represents you as an employee that is trapped in the "Rat Race" and your piece of cheese represents your dream. Each player gets to pick his color rat and cheese and what dream they hope to achieve once they've exited the rat race.
There are many lessons to be learned while playing this game such as the importance of building assets as opposed to just increasing your cashflow. Additionally, this is a contest that forces you to focus on the big picture, which is financial freedom first, wealth second. Regardless of how "good" your income is, if you are still dependent on your paycheck to make a living, you are caught in the rat race. In order to achieve financial freedom, each player must build their passive income to the point that it surpasses his or her expenses. Once your passive income surpasses your expenses, you escape the rat race and are able to start building wealth towards your "cheese", or your dream.
What is interesting at this point is that you literally move in a different direction from those who are still trapped in the "Rat Race". My mentor, who was also playing with us, always teaches that if you want to be successful, look at what everyone else is doing and do the opposite. This game teaches just that! Those who are still trapped literally move in a circle, existing from paycheck to paycheck. It is not until you understand the importance of increasing your assets and decreasing your liabilities that you are able to escape corporate America, live financially free and remove yourself from the humdrum life of merely existing and depending on next week's pay.
The United States of America is known as "The Land of Opportunity". Yet, as Americans, the majority of us refuse to take advantage of the opportunities that are presented to us on a daily basis. I felt an extreme amount of relief when I was the first one to escape the rat race and earn my piece of cheese. It felt, symbolically, like the greatest sigh of relief that I've ever had. Fortunately for me, I did not pass on the opportunity to escape the corporate rat race in my real life. I was presented with an opportunity, through the network marketing industry, to achieve freedom in my life and I took it.
America is becoming more and more separated between the classes. The middle class is rapidly disappearing. Soon, it will be the rich and the poor - the have's and the have nots. If you want to be free, learn the rules of the rich. Remember P.O.O.R people pass over opportunities repeatedly. If you want to be successful, mimic the game "Cashflow Quadrant". Look at what most people are doing and move in an opposite direction!

Lightyear Alliance Top Money Earner Cruise 2008

We want to have the freedom to do what we want to do, when we want to do it, how we want to do it and with whom we want to do it with. The only industry in the world that provides this type of lifestyle to the non-athlete and non-entertainer is network marketing. Sure, the oceanic landscapes were captivating; the size of the boat was breathtaking; the food was delicious. My Very First Cruise - Bahamas, Here We Come!
This business is about far more than just the money that can be made. It's about the opportunity to have a lifestyle that most people only dream about. Sure, there are millions of people who can go on a cruise any time they want to, but how many people can go on a cruise that they earned by helping themselves and others improve the quality of lives that they live?

They mentioned that I would not need a passport if I had my birth certificate and ID, but I got one anyway. Lightyear rush-shipped our (my fiance' and I) boarding passes and cruise itineraries. I was like a little kid in a toy store when they arrived. I wonder what McDonald's is like in the Bahamas? In 3 days I will be basking in the glory of the beautiful Island of Bahamas with some fantastic leaders.

I was always told that people get into network marketing for the money, but they stay for the feeling. Now I understand. Thanks, Lightyear, for helping make my dreams a reality!

A New Wireless.com is Coming July 18th!
Our wireless representatives will be able to capitalize by building wireless and residual distribution channels. This will absolutely be the most explosive opportunity in US history! Here's an example of how the representatives will earn income:

YTB? Traverus? No - Lightyear Alliance!
Let's look at all three from a logical standpoint. YTB has been in business for 7 years, has over 136,000 representatives and is powered by Travelocity's online travel engine. As far as the enrollment and the marketing system, the one-time fee is $500 and the agent website is $49.95. The biggest deal is the residual payout. For YTB's web system, the payout is $2/mo. Now, my job is not to analyze the compensation plan because I don't benefit from it, so it will do my no good to know it in and out. This purely for a skeletal comparison.
Now for Traverus. This company has been around for 26 years as a travel agency with 1 year in network marketing. It's one-time enrollment fee is $199 or $99 (I've seen sites with different prices. I don't think a lot of them know what they are talking about!). They, too, are backed by Travelocity's online travel engine. Their web system, like YTB is $49.95 but pays more on the residual side. With Traverus, you can earn from $5 to $15/mo per rep. That's great!
From what I understand from reading and listening to individuals involved in Traverus, their "selling point" over YTB is the fact that with Traverus, you get international territory with all suppliers and YTB is limited for whatever reason. Also, with YTB, you have to pay an additional $150 for RTA credentials or something to that effect, whatever THAT means! Both companies travel "commissions" are commissions that are paid on the commissions that the company receives. So, if you are looking at an "online travel agency", you do NOT receive a commission on the travel package. You receive a commission on the commission that your company receives, which means you really only make money on vacation/cruise packages.
Where does Lightyear Alliance fit into all of this? Well, as of April, Lightyear offered its representatives an online travel portal as well. Take a look at this. The one-time enrollment for Lightyear is $199, $399 and for a limited time, a platinum package (you actually SKIP the first level!) for $499! Our web system consists of 5 separate websites (1 site for Travel that is powered by Travelocity as well, 1 for Organic Energy Drinks, 1 for the marketing system, 1 for products and 1 for the representatives to communicate with each other) as well as 4 lead capture pages, an auto-responder system and contact manager for the same $49.95 as YTB and Traverus. We, too, get commissions on the commissions that the company gets, but our residual for the web system is $3 to $18/mo per representative. This is in ADDITION to the 10% we receive on personal customers on the necessity-based telecommunications side, the 4% though 8 compressed levels on the telecommunications side, the $1 for our very own "Extraordinaire Magazine", the $0.50/case for our very own organic energy drink. WOW!
As mentioned, both of those companies are great companies, but Lightyear takes the best of the travel industry and combines it with necessity-based products and a compensation plan that is unparalleled in the network marketing industry. To add gas to the fire, starting on July 18th, we will also be the ONLY company in network marketing - period - to pay residual income on wireless services. Travel is great, but even travel agents need cell phones!
By the way, the company is sending me on a cruise for the week of June 23 on Royal Caribbean. Guess what?
